TERRY PICKARD's APACHE ART COMPANY'S 20th YEAR IN OPERATION!

This company evolved to work with teachers, museums, public and private groups to educate this side of the world on the rich culture of the Native American Indian. APACHE ART CO. is the ONLY NATIVE-OWNED business in the UK teaching on this subject, APACHE ART CO. has taught thousands of children and adults in the ways of the Native American Indian. I've appeared at every major museum in the UK with great success in accomplishing what I started out wanting to do, and that is to try and dispell myths and stereotypes, and display a little Indian-Humour. I've always made it clear to everyone, that I only speak for myself and don't claim to speak for a whole tribe or group, as one person can not do that.

Terry is an enrolled member of the Fort Sill (Chiricahua-Warm Springs) Apache on his maternal side, and Delaware, Caddo and Wichita on his paternal side. His grandfather was born a POW (Prisoner-of-War), after the Apache's were imprisoned at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, following the surrender of Geronimo's band in 1886 at the end of the Apache Wars. He relocated to the UK in 1996. He is the only registered artist living in Europe that is listed on the U.S. Dept. of the Interior's, Indian Arts and Crafts Board, Since 1996, he's been hired by every major Museum in the UK to give lectures, Cultural Presentations and Workshops on the Native American Indian.
